'Transmission from Dex - Primation (Primitive Kingdom)'
Hello, everyone! This is Dexter Vespa, time traveler, coming to you live directly from Primondia in the year 0 of its creation! That’s right: I’m here in our own home planet the moment it was built by our deities, the Primators–almost 1000 years before my own era! Now, for those of you from other universes, the Primators are the deities that made our world the great place it is today. Before Primondia, there was only space. The deepest, darkest space you could imagine. Then came Savara, the Primator of Body, who, according to legend, wanted to create a monument to their greatness. This monument began as a statue in the form of an orb—our planet—and eventually refined into more rigid figures—mountains and boulders—and eventually detailed figures in their own image: statue-like species that we now know as Savarians. After that, the Primator of Life, Marion, made an agreement with Savara so those statues could perceive the world and enjoy its beauty as much as Savara. This brought life to the world, sprouting beautiful vegetation as far as the eye could see. Finally, the Primator of Will, Petra, made a similar agreement, where they could grant will and action to those creatures and they could act upon the things they perceived. And thus, animals and other creatures were born.
Now, that’s all standard Primondian history that we’ve all learned in our history classes before. I obviously couldn’t travel back in time far enough to witness that whole phenomenon of Primation, since technically the world didn’t even exist yet. No, the farthest my time machine could take me was at the very beginning of the most magnificent occurrence that we call Sentience. Before Sentience, all those minerals and vegetables and animals were all mindless and had no aim in life besides to survive. Even the most advanced of the creatures, the Savarians, simply stood as statues to watch over the world. But the most amazing thing happened one day that changed everything! Somehow, a stream of Primator magic leaked out through the sky, either on purpose or not, and sprinkled onto every single creature, giving them the gift of will… and thought! This Primator magic not only let even more creatures act for themselves, but also think for themselves! And I have to say, this Sentience thing wasn’t gradual. One single leak of magic in the sky, and creatures were building societies like that!
So of course the first thing I wanted to do when I got here to year 0, month 0, day 0 of Primondia was to start off at the site of the very first civilization, over in Amber Drop! I’m flying and buzzing over there now, so when I get there, I’ll keep you all updated on what I see. And what life was like at the dawn of civilization.
We’ll see you on the flip side!
