'Starverse Lore The Hackys’ New Model – 2 – Fired!'

We return to the Hackys and their new model. But what will become of her?

LIZA: Hey Kev, have you seen Lexi around?

KEVIN: I think she’s up in Simon’s room.

[Meanwhile in Simon’s room]

SIMON: Lexi, please. Let me do my work. I can see you want to… “hang out” with me right now, but not this moment.

LEXI: C’mon, you know you want to.

SIMON: Please. Stay out of my office.

[Liza comes in]

LIZA: What’s going on here?

SIMON: Our new model is distracting me from my work. She appears to be very flirtatious.

LIZA: Well Lex, you can’t just flirt with people when their working. Or pretty much any time during work hours. Oh that reminds me. You’re needed for a shooting in five.

[She comes down, giving Simon a slight punch in the shoulder on the way out. She comes up to the runway, where Kevin and Liza are ready to take pictures]

KEVIN: Alright Lex, ready?

LEXI: No, I’m just standing up here bored waiting for you to start shooting. No way I could be ready.

KEVIN: Could deal without the sarcasm Lex.

[Several weeks pass of putting up with the kind of stuff Lexi does]

KEVIN: Liza, where’s Lexi now?

LIZA: No idea. Hope she quit. She turned out to be a real jerk.

KEVIN: That’s no way to talk about a new hire. Plus, you were the one who wanted her.

LIZA: I know, but she’s done so many bad things to me.

[She mentions bad things that most likely shouldn’t be in an E10+ rated series.]

KEVIN: Well… yeah. But she’s just not used to our laid-back environment. She may think that anything goes for now, but she’ll soon learn.

LIZA: I hope so.

[Simon comes walking in]

SIMON: You guys talking about Lexi?

KEVIN: Yes.

LIZA: How we should think about firing her.

SIMON: REALLY?! PLEASE!

KEVIN: Simon!

SIMON: What? She’s SO annoying! Once she even [he says a thing that most likely shouldn’t be in an E10+ rated series].

LIZA: Ew. We need to fire her definitely.

KEVIN: Okay… I mean… yeah she’s been mean. She made fun of pretty much everyone here too. Could’ve done without many profane remarks.

LIZA: Are all of you thinking what I’m thinking?

ALL: Find a legitimate way to get her fired!

KEVIN: But how? Nothing we’ve mentioned so far is enough of a reason.

LIZA: I’ll find a way.

[Later]

KEVIN: Liz, can you go get Lexi for another shooting?

LIZA: Sure.

[She walks up to her room. She hears a big ruckus in there. She peeks through the door and immediately slams it closed. She says to herself…]

LIZA: Yeah. That’s enough.

[She quickly walks down and tells Kevin.]

KEVIN: Okay. First off: EW! Secondly: Did she not read the rules and regulations?! That is so prohibited that it’s actually highlighted, bolded, underlines, italicized, and used in a very convincing font! Excuse me for a second.

[He walks over to an intercom]

KEVIN: Lexi to Kevin’s office please. Lexi to Kevin’s office

[She comes down, scared]

LEXI: What’cha want Kevin?

KEVIN: Call me Mr. Hacky.

LEXI: But you told me—

KEVIN: I know. Tell me. What do you think you were doing up there?

LEXI: I was… hanging out with a friend.

KEVIN: Mm-hmm. And what gave you the authority to “hang out” with that “friend”?

LEXI: I… um…

KEVIN: I could give you a warning this time, but I don’t know if you deserve it. After everything else you’ve done.

LEXI: What are you saying?

KEVIN: I’m saying that—

LIZA: Kev? Could I do the honors?

KEVIN: Be my guest!

LIZA: LEXI! YOU’RE FIRED!
