Doopie [’du-pi] (they/them) is one of the two main protagonists of Doopie and Wells (series). They are a Palliss from the Sandcastle Dimension.

History and origin

Doopie was born in Blasting Beach. They're a carefree Palliss who only wants to have fun, but wound up in the middle of a war between the Pallisses and the Naullis. Doopie did their best to stay out of the mess and hide from any of the damage and destruction that was taking place. In finding a small alcove in Blasting Beach, they met Wells, a dimensional-travelling Human aiming to put an end to dimensional Corruption and to return home. Doopie wanted to leave the dimension, explore the worlds, and help a cause for the greater good, so they decided to join Wells on his quest.

General description

Doopie is a tall structure made of sand. They arise from a pool of sand and a puddle of water at their base, and form a humanoid cylinder as a body, with two cylinders made of sand protruding out as arms. Their head is more round and resembles the roof of a castle, as do their hands. There is a constant stream of water flowing inside them that ends as ball-shaped water droplets from their hands and atop their head. They have darker sand outlines where their eyes should be, and "eyelashes" on the top and bottom of their eyes. They have a seashell and a sea star attached to their body.
