5 - The Seven Sources
The Seven Sources was one of the installments of the Star Guardians series and the first one that Adam DeVoix considers to be canon in the Stay Guardians series. It is the precursor to the Primitive Kingdom installment, The Mellian Invasion, and tells the story of the origin of Stelleism and the Guardians.
Plot
Prologue
Graham 'Whoozitt' Hooderly calls an emergency meeting about an invasion from a Klutz army that is attacking the Mertzen Region, starting at Mertzen Town. Plainsworth (P1) and Percy (P2) are invited, as they have proven time and time again that they know what to do in situations like these, but Slasher crashes the meeting, upset that he has been a Mertzenian citizen longer than the two of them, and if anyone should know anything about handling the Klutz, it should be a Klutz himself. "Sorry I'm late. I couldn't find my invitation. Be happy I made it at all."
Just then, a huge blast from a Klutz airship blasts the conference room and leaves Mertzen Town in ruins. Hooderly orders the Rockbells to take cover and shelter somewhere else--somewhere completely off the grid where the Klutz won't be able to find them. Hooderly recommends the "palace" of his his cousin Melrin, an infamous con artist who scams people into psychic readings. Slasher bolts out of the conference room himself and dashes straight to his fortress, where he can reconvene with his army and strategize a plan against the Klutz himself.
