'Transmission from Casque - Welcome to DevCore (Ether)'

Greetings. Casque speaking. I hope you are all having a good day, and if not, that things are getting better. Dexter and Cameron have asked me, as their chosen ambassador from DevCore, to give a rundown of what it is we do here and what goes on. Dexter claimed that, “an omnipresent organization that acts as the control panel for growth and development sounds fascinating!” Oh, my dear Dexter, I’m a proponent of precise language, and “fascinating” does not begin to describe the wonders of what goes on here!

Close your eyes and imagine. Don’t imagine anything specific, just imagine. Think of the most outlandishly beautiful landscape you can think of. What you just imagined is only a fraction of where we live and work here in DevCore. We’re not a company, we’re not a factory—we are a way of life. Whatever is possible in the mind is possible here, and we’re just here to capture it! From picturesque gardens to valleys as vast as the eye can see, from mystical and magnificent laboratories to cities where anyone can fulfill their wildest dreams. And they all work together in harmony to create the unique individual, our host. As of now, our host’s name is Jaxie.

John Cagney in the Executive Branch puts our host’s thoughts into practice by planning, taking action, and thinking. Professor Camper in the Memory Library stores all the senses, details, and information our host has taken in over the years—and there’s so much of it! Ellie Lorem in the Processing Plant receives language and messages taken in and produces and ships them out. Mama Erika in the Social Garden gently tends to our host to make sure they are managing their emotions and relations wisely and carefully. Captain Kohlberg in Moralville scouts our host’s actions and behaviors to make sure they are acting correctly and reasonably. And all of that builds together into a huge mess of commands, information, and ideas, only decipherable by none other than our creative leader in Imaginative Studios: Ether!

I have worked with Ether since Camper invented me 3 years after Jaxie was born. I was made to take snapshots of all the details around me and send it to my boss Ether, who would use their creative prowess to turn it into something spectacular! And it’s thanks to how active and efficient all our Foremen are that we have so much material to work with. The richer our host’s environment is with senses, language, and experiences, the more building blocks we can use to strengthen our work and the more material Ether can use to create their masterpieces. The stronger we all work and the more new things we experience, the stronger Jaxie will become in both mind and spirit!

Here in Imaginative Studios, we create so Jaxie can not only get by in life, but enjoy it too! Ether spends so much time working on art pieces, theatre pieces, films, and literature so we can give Jaxie as many possibilities of what their life can be! And that’s just the beginning! Although we do everything in our might to let Jaxie flourish, our DevCore wouldn’t be as robust and majestic if Jaxie didn’t use our resources with the utmost care and prudence! Thanks to my ability to observe the world around us and Ether’s ability to take that inspiration and transform it into ideas, DevCore has been running rampant with each and every one of Jaxie’s creations, inspirations, and ideas! In fact, all of the characters, creatures, and imaginary friends our Jaxie has invented over their years have stayed carefully fostered and cared for here in Imaginative Studios as our staff. And we couldn’t be more grateful!

DevCore is a truly awe-inspiring place where the imagination runs wild and our only boss is the human mind itself. Where even the smallest of thoughts and ideas can take life and get churned into magnificent creations never once thought of by the human mind! It is a complicated topic to explain the human mind, imagination, and development, so thanks to Dex and Cam, we now finally have an outlet to showcase it all real-time. We look forward to your future visit.

This has been Casque. Transmission ended.
