'Spotlights 1-3 - The RPS Knights (Primitive Kingdom)

Hi all! Dex here! I know I said I was on my way to Primondia’s first ever town, but on my way there, I ran into my heroes: The RPS Knights! I studied these guys so much in my lifetime and the amazing things they did to make Sentience and society livable and enjoyable rather than a burden to carry. I can’t emphasize enough how much I wanted to get to know them!

001 Shari Plank.png246I met Shari Plank (she/her) on my journey to the dawn of the world. She’s one of the RPS Knights, according to our king, Radley Diamant. Radley is—or, was?—an eccentric one though, so I’m not quite sure if Shari takes to that team name. Either way, when I met Shari, she seemed like a very friendly Human. Headstrong and not someone you’d want to mess with, but friendly nonetheless. She seems impulsive, as is normal for her species, but I can tell she has a huge heart. Just don’t cross her, or else she’ll beat you up and use the scraps as a weapon. I learned that the hard way when I witnessed her decimate a poor Sharcu and steal its spiky shell to use as arm gauntlets.

002 Percy Rockwell.png246Alongside Shari Plank was a kind yet way-in-over-their head Grimsmor known as Percy Rockwell (they/them). Percy appears to be the second of the RPS Knights and is much more collected than Shari. They seem to put on a ruse of being more intelligent and morally grounded than the rest of the group, which—honestly is accurate—but also implies a large ego too. From what I observed, the Sharcu that Shari beat up was the same one that bullied Percy al into jumping off a cliff. Percy is incredibly independent, and has even refused combat help from Shari when she was objectively the much better fighter of the two. Percy and Shari seem to have some sort of deep animosity between each other that I can’t for the life of me figure out.

003 Radley Diamant.png246The legendary Radley Diamant (he/him)! Yes, I met him in person, and it was a tremendous honor! To think, I could see the man responsible for birthing our society! He was standing with Shari Plank and Percy Rockwell, the other two of the RPS Knights. He stood so proud and regal, as if every action and dictation were made with the utmost calculation and sincerity. I was so excited to see such a noble part of our history. Well, I was, but unfortunately, he turned out to be fallible like the rest of us. And I mean extremely fallible! The dude couldn’t fight to save his life, and the moment he senses danger, he flees to the back and lets the others do their thing. Still, the man is responsible for developing our currency of Roses, retaking Fort Rose and turning it into a bustling center of culture, and eventually uniting the various regions in the continent of Savare into what we know today as the Savarian Kingdom. A long, long descendent of him still rules today, and his statue is still displayed prominently in the center of Fort Rose. The placard leaves out the detail that he can’t make a decision to save his life.
