General description

Personality

Dawn is a calm and optimistic person. They are an average Plainwood citizen, having a stark belief in Sinisters and the supernatural. Like most Plainwooders (especially Eileen), they tend not to speak or expand on their answers unless prompted. They want to avoid as much trouble as possible and always acts to follow the written or unspoken rules, even if it means having to report a friend for using their left hand in public. Unlike most Plainwooders, though, they have a kind heart and hate to see others get hurt or be treated unfairly. That is the main reason they opened up the Everoak: so citizens who are ignored or treated unfairly still have the ability to rise up and be treated with dignity. Dawn is a charitable person and will not hesitate to donate free things to people who need them, even if it comes as a detriment to themself.

Relationships

With a reputation score in the high Category 3s, Dawn is a pleasant person to be around, and many other Plainwooders enjoy being around them. If Dawn didn't put so much care into helping those with who live on Riverside Road, they would most likely live with an even higher reputation score. Although the Everoak is mostly frequented by Dawn's friends who live on Riverside Road and is even stationed on Riverside Road itself, Plainwooders feel safe and comfortable enough to enter the building to get some food or drinks to go.

Dawn's best friends are Vivian Fay, Eileen Pritchett, Patrick Wells, and Morgan Bailey. In the events of Plainwood, Arise and Awaken and all installments before The Statue on Riverside, Dawn is single, but just before the beginning of The Statue on Riverside, Dawn and Vivian got married. Dawn treats all of their friends equally and regularly checks in on them to see if there is anything that they need. Patrick, Vivian, and Morgan all respect Dawn's dedication to them, but Eileen hates being seen as a charity case and believes that Dawn wouldn't have liked any of them if the group weren't rejected by the rest of Plainwood.
